So I am in the early stages of creating a CPA Firm consulting company. I feel that although firms have access to an abundance of information a lot them do not know how to implement what they are being shown. Unfortunately or not I have made a lot of mistakes along the way and have overcome a number of poor decisions that I would like my fellow firm owners to not repeat. I also have a knack for taking a grain of information and snowballing that into a change that my firm has benefitted from. I am interested in helping firms implement the change they want. Some of the areas I am going to concentrate on are firm analytics and practice management, embracing the cloud, and understanding process. I will keep everyone up to date on the developments. Currently I am brainstorming over the service package and my deliverables. I also think this can only enhance my own firms processes as it allows me to be further exposed to other bright minds...More to come!

End user consulting or for accounting firms?

Actually we already do a lot of business consulting for our clients. I am entering into helping CPA implement the technologies that are available for them today including running a successful CPA firm that uses the E-Myth as its model.

Thanks that is a good plan in helping those who have businesses how to manage and keeping track of their payables as well as receivables and income.
